TITLE
LIQUID BINDING DEVICE
The invention relates to a fluid binding device.
After environmental awareness is increasing more and more nowadays, especially in commercial enterprises, oil binders are increasingly being used in businesses. These materials are mainly transported in sacks whose sizes correspond approximately to cement sacks. From these, the users then fill the binders into various containers, for example in buckets, and distribute them during operation.
The distribution and application of the oil binder are therefore cumbersome and sometimes very time consuming. This results in a situation where the companies buy the oil binders and store them in a central location, whereby they are not or only very difficult to access when needed locally and therefore are not used as intended or prescribed.
DE 198 33 638 A1 discloses a hand-operated bulk donor for pepper, salt, vinegar, oil or the like.
DE 20 2007 002 594 U1 discloses a container for the controlled picking up and controlled dispensing of liquid, powdery or granular ingredients.
Also known are hand-operated litter containers for de-icing salts and lawn fertilizers.
An object of the invention is therefore to provide an improved fluid binding device.
The object is achieved with a fluid binding device, comprising a manually operable spreader, wherein the spreader has a scattering grid, wherein the spreader is at least partially filled with a spreadable liquid binder, wherein diameter of at least a portion of the openings of the scattering grid of defined properties are adapted to the liquid binding agent, characterized in that the diameters of at least a part of the openings of the scattering grid are adapted to a moisture content of the liquid binder and / or an internal coefficient of friction and / or a grain size of the liquid binder.
This makes it possible in an advantageous manner, the spreadable liquid binder by manual actuation of the scattering container at desired locations to apply dosed. A metered, locally defined application of the liquid binder is advantageously supported in this way. Furthermore, easy refillability and transportability and good storability of the liquid binding agent are supported by means of the scattering container. In this way it is possible that the liquid binder can be dispensed in defined doses. A dosage level depends essentially on a design of the scattering grid and an intensity of Schütteins or a shaking frequency of the scattering container.
This advantageously supports that an efficient application of the liquid binder is possible. For example, with suitable dimensioning of the openings of the scattering grid by shaking, a type of "self-locking" of the liquid binding agent in the spreading container can be overcome, thereby achieving a defined delivery of the liquid binding agent. As a result, a consistently good throwing power of the liquid binder is thereby supported.
Preferred embodiments of the liquid binding device are the subject of dependent claims.
A preferred embodiment of the liquid binding device provides that the
Litter box has a handle for operating the litter box. In this way, a one-handed operation of the scattering container is easily and efficiently possible.
Further embodiments of the liquid binding device are characterized in that the control grid is arranged screwed or plugged onto the litter container or can be arranged. As a result, easy access to an interior of the scattering container can be provided, whereby the liquid binding agent can be easily refilled into the scattering container in a simple manner.
A further embodiment of the liquid binding device provides that the spreading container has a closure. This helps to provide spill protection. In addition, this provides a good protection against moisture entry, whereby the liquid binder in the litter container longer dry and thus well trickle or. can remain dispersible.
A further embodiment of the liquid binding device provides that the scattering grid is formed integrally with a closure cap element of the closure. In this way, a cost-effective production of the scattering container and a simple and quick refillability of the liquid binder in the spreading container are supported.
A further embodiment of the liquid binding device provides that the scattering container is formed of metal or plastic. In this way, cost-effective, strong and solid materials are provided.
A further embodiment of the liquid binding device provides that the spreadable liquid binder is an oil binder. In this way, environmental protection regulations can be met in a simple way, which prescribe to what extent an oil input into soils should be avoided.
The invention will be described below with further features and advantages with reference to two figures in detail. In this case, all features, regardless of their representation in the description and in the figures, as well as regardless of their back references in the claims the subject of the invention. The figures are intended in particular to clarify the principles essential to the invention.
In the figures: FIG. 1 shows a perspective view of an embodiment of the invention
Liquid binding device; and Fig. 2 is a perspective view of the liquid binding apparatus with the lid open
Closure.
Fig. 1 shows a perspective view of an embodiment of the liquid binding device 100 according to the invention. The fluid binding device 100 comprises a spreading container 10, which is formed of a solid, thin material, preferably metal or plastic. Of course, it is conceivable that alternative materials with suitable properties can be used. Preferably, the litter box 10 has a handle 11, with which it is possible to hold the litter container 10 with one hand or to operate and thereby scattered in the litter 10 scattering material to scatter. Preferably, the handle 11 is formed integrally with the housing of the scattering container 10, but may alternatively be attached as a separate element on the spreading container 10 (not shown). Also visible is a closure cap of the scattering container 10 with two closure cap elements 13a, 13b.
In a further, not shown variant, it is also possible to form a rather small-sized litter container 10 without handle 11, whereby a very inexpensive manufacturable industrial form for receiving and dispensing the liquid binder is provided.
In the hopper 10, a spreadable, granular fluid binder 20 (not shown) is arranged, which serves to bind a liquid or chemical, for example in the form of oil. If oil is to be bound, the liquid binder 20 is formed as a spreadable oil binder.
2 shows a perspective detail view of the scattering container 10 from above.
A closure or a closure cap of the scattering container 10 comprises two closure cap elements 13a and 13b, wherein a first closure cap element 13a forms a removable element, which is formed on the scattering grid 12 screwed or plugged or snapped. The second closure cap element 13b can be plugged or snapped or screwed onto a filling opening of the scattering container 10. By means of a holding element 15, e.g. in the form of a connection tab, the first closure cap element 13a is movably connected to the second closure cap element 13b, so that unintentional separation of the first closure cap element 13a from the second closure cap element 13b is prevented.
The first closure cap element 13a is used in particular for closing a scattering grid 12 (not shown in FIG. 1), the second closure cap element 13b serves to close the filling opening of the scattering container 10. It can be seen that the first closure cap element 13a from the scattering grid 12 from the second closure cap element 13b is folded down, whereby an application of the liquid binder 20 from the litter container 10 to the outside is possible. The second closure cap element 13b may preferably be formed integrally with the scattering grid 12. In an alternative, not shown, however, it is also conceivable that the scattering grid 12 can be plugged or screwed on or snapped onto the filling opening of the scattering container 10.
Diameter of openings 14 of the scattering grid 12 are preferably dimensioned such that an effective scattering of the liquid binding agent 20 is supported. In this case, one or more diameters of an opening 14 of the scattering grid 12 can preferably be adapted to a grain size of the spreadable liquid binding agent 20, which is typically about 0.3 mm to about 0.7 mm. Furthermore, one or more diameter openings of the scattering grid 12 can also be adapted to a degree of moisture or to an internal coefficient of friction of the liquid binding agent 20. As a result, this means that the openings 14 of the scattering grid 12 are generally greater, the more moist or the less scatterable the liquid binding agent 20 is.
The lattice gritter 12 serves mainly to retain the liquid binder 20 when scattering to a certain extent in the litter container 10 and to allow it by shaking the spreading container 10 by hand to apply the liquid binder 20 metered. A dosage amount of the liquid binding agent 20 depends, e.g. also from a shaking intensity and / or a shaking frequency of the scattering container 10 from.
It is advantageously easily possible to refill the litter container 10 in a simple manner by temporarily removing the closure with the two closure cap elements 13a, 13b from the litter container 10, whereby a filling opening of the litter container 10 is exposed and for filling or refilling the liquid binder 20 can be used.
A maximum size of the litter container 10 is preferably designed such that a hand-operated operation is also possible if the litter container 10 is substantially completely filled with liquid binder 20. In practice, it has been found that a total weight of about 2kg to about 5kg, preferably about 3kg to about 4kg for a one-handed operation of the filled litter box 10 is low. In view of the fact that approximately 2 to 7 times the intrinsic volume of oil can be bonded by means of an oil binder, this provides a favorable ratio between an amount of oil to be bound and a quantity of oil binder in the scattering container 10.
In the application, the first cap member 13a is removed from the lattice gritter 12 and from the second cap member 13b, then thereafter, while shaking the litter container 10, to apply the liquid binder 20 to the desired location.
Preferably, the filled with oil binder litter box 10 is stored in places or close to places where an unwanted oil leakage is to be avoided, for example in a machine park with machines with heavy-duty hydraulic hoses (eg snow removal vehicles), at Ölnachfüllstationen, in industrial machinery, Thus, in the event of spillage, it is easily possible to quickly grasp the liquid binding device 100, remove the closure cap member 13a, and disperse the liquid binding agent 20 in a quantitative and spatially defined manner. As a result, the leaked oil can be rapidly bound and removed, thereby minimizing the negative environmental impact of uncontrolled leaking oil.
In summary, the present invention proposes an improved fluid binding device with which it is possible in a cost-effective and rapid manner to effectively bind small to medium quantities of spilled fluid, in particular oil.
Of course, it is also possible to apply the liquid binder to ever different types of liquids, such as degreaser.
